Black Sea
The Noble Touch of Misty Hills: Rare Flavors Grown in the Unique Terroir of the Black Sea.
Viticulture here is concentrated in the inland parts (Tokat, Amasya) to avoid the excessive coastal rainfall. The climate is humid and temperate, with rich, often clay-heavy soils. The region’s wine culture is deeply traditional, focused on hardy, local varieties. Its most famous Endemic White is Narince, known for its floral, citrus notes and aging potential.
